San Diego Tango Festival (SDTF)

Great location on the waterfront with sunsets and good weather, walking distance to one of the best restaurant districts in the city, and many nearby San Diego adventures to be had! As always, great DJs and teachers to keep you dancing and learning all weekend long. At SDTF we take our tango seriously, but not too seriously. We’re serious about great navigation, but we’re also serious about having a good time! We have all the things you expect from a tango festival: forgiving floor, great DJs and teachers, and a smooth sound system with lots of hours of dancing. But it’s New Year’s and we believe in a great party! So there will be decorations and twinkle lights and balloons and New Year’s champagne because we think tango should be fun too!

The San Diego Rodeo returns to Petco Park. Enjoy this three-day family-friendly event, featuring some of the world’s top rodeo athletes. C5 Rodeo Co. and Outriders Presents are partnering with the Padres to help bring an authentic rodeo experience to downtown San Diego. Many of the sport’s most talented cowboys will be returning to participate for more than $800,000 in prize money. Additionally, with our city’s rich history of rodeo culture dating back hundreds of years, the San Diego Rodeo will continue to incorporate cultural practices featuring local charros.
